Research position will be available in March 2023 at University of Genoa – Department of Experimental Medicine, section of Cellular Biology (supervisor Prof. Chiara Gentili).

The position: The selected candidate will work on EU-Horizon project focused on:

  • Generation and characterization of human iPSC derived MSCs (hiMSCs)
  • Establishment of the human mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) and hiMSC specific secretome
  • Production, purification, and characterization of extracellular vesicles from human iPSC (hiEVs)

Main activities:

  • – Cell isolation and culture
  • Cellular and molecular biology
  • Extracellular vesicles production, purification, and characterization
  • Cell imaging

Required qualification and skills:

  • Master’s degree in biology or similar
  • Technical expertise linked to cellular biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology
  • Skill in data analysis and image analysis

Work details: Research grant position 1 year renewable (28.682,00 Euro)
