Post-doctoral Fellowships in Molecular Oncology

Two post-doctoral positions are available to join the group of Prof. Maria Paola Paronetto at Fondazione Santa Lucia and at the University of Rome “Foro Italico”.

The first project is funded by the Italian Association for Cancer Research (AIRC) and aims at investigating the oncogenic dysregulation of transcriptional and post-transcriptional programs in Ewing sarcoma.

The second project is funded by the MUR and aims at investigating the role of the Androgen Receptor/DHX9 molecular axis as novel therapeutic target for prostate cancer.

Selected candidates will work at the characterization of the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer-specific transcriptional signatures and at the elucidation of the impact exerted by oncogenic expression programs on the response to therapeutic treatments.

Highly motivated candidates, with passionate interest in cancer cell biology and a proactive collaborative attitude are invited to apply.
